Orphée et Eurydice; L'opéra Daegu

"Orfeo ed Euridice" est basé sur le célèbre mythe grec d'Orphée, le maître de la harpe, qui a même déplacé des arbres et des rochers. Il s'agit d'Orphée, qui est soudainement descendu dans le monde souterrain à la recherche de sa femme décédée Eurydice, brisant l'avertissement de Dieu de "ne jamais regarder en arrière jusqu'à ce qu'il atteigne la terre", et a finalement fait face à un résultat tragique. Cependant, l'opéra de Gluck a une fin heureuse dans laquelle Orphée déplace Dieu et se déplace en toute sécurité vers la terre avec Eurydice. Les noms des personnages ont également été changés d'Orphée à Orfeo et d'Eurydice à Euridice. The Daegu Opera House is staging Gluck's "Orfeo ed Euridice" as its first opera of the season, starting from March 22. "Orfeo ed Euridice" is based on the famous Greek myth of Orpheus, the master of harp, who moved even trees and rocks. It is about Orpheus, who suddenly went down to the underworld looking for his dead wife Eurydice, breaking God's warning to "never look back until he reaches the earth," and eventually facing a tragic result.  However, Gluck's opera has a happy ending in which Orpheus moves God and moves safely to the earth with Eurydice. The performance is a rare English opera composed by British opera composer Benjamin Britten based on Shakespeare's play "A Midsummer Night's Dream", and is a modern opera that premiered in 1960.
